Our Concerts Secretary deals with all aspects of booking the band. This includes agreeing a date and time for the band to play, providing details of the fee we charge, and liaising about the practical arrangements for the event. We have a huge library of music from which we can put together almost any type of concert or musical event. The library includes modern and classic wind band repertoire, marches, selections from shows, film and television music, classical arrangements, music for Christmas, and popular items. Our Musical Director will agree the programme with you taking into account the type of event and your musical preferences, whilst ensuring there is something to interest the band members as well as the audience.

We require just a few arrangements to make sure that we can perform to our high standard. Where an outdoor event is arranged then some arrangements should be made in case of bad weather - we cannot play in windy or wet conditions. We require chairs for the band to sit on and a good sized space to set them out - we usually require about 40 chairs. We need good lighting especially if we are performing indoors at night. A few members with large instruments such as percussion will require close access to the venue for their car and nearby parking - they will probably want to arrive about an hour before the start time to unload and setup. It is usually a good idea to provide some drinks in the interval for both the audience and the band members.
